NOTES:
Before there was even a solid line up, Bob & Justin knew there was going to be a Charger EP. As an ode to Metallica's fantastic Master Of Puppets album, whose lead-off track was a song called "Battery", we decided to make our first CD start out with "Charger"! Even though the cover suggested otherwise, the song had nothing to do with cars. And we never did find out the origin of the albums's opening sample: "The charge, my boy, the charge...nothing matters but the charge..."

While half of this cd featured new recordings, tracks 2,4, & 5 were actually taken from our first demo. [The other versions which were originally recorded for this disc sounded horrible.] None of these tracks will probably ever be released again as it far from represents the nature of the band.

ART:
This cover is actually an advertisement of a Dodge Challenger not a Charger! But by the time anyone had realised it, we had already printed a bunch of covers up and were already giving them away. Thanks to this cover we also started to look less punk or metal to our peers and more progressive rock.

PRODUCTION:
"Passive Eye" was actually a fluke. Whilst recording "Pass If I", the tape had gotten loose and didn't sit right in the 4 track causing the bass & drum tracks to warble. Taking advantage of the situation, Justin then recorded his guitar track backwards. A lot of people have actually asked what the hell was going on that track. All the added noise was really 1 guitar being attacked with a screwdriver and several nickels on Daval's misadjusted pickup!
