NOTES:
In an attempt to regain our bearings [and a quick move across town], we recorded these songs in Daval's basement in early November for an unplugged in-store show at Media Play in Mishawaka, IN. Like our other demos, these weren't even attempted to be circulated very well. The initial copies were made for the managers and employees of the store, but once we made the first couple everyone else in our circle had to have one. An acoustic version of
Bastards was never recorded again.
ART:
Bob was pretty insistent on this picture of a Port-A-Potty he took just before a thunderstorm that ended up on the back cover. The main cover was a graphic sent to Justin via email from a guy in Russia who let us use it royalty-free.
PRODUCTION:
This was only the second time we recorded on 4 tracks; the first never being released. All Justin can remember was how uncomfortable it was to play these prog-acoustic songs with a large vocal microphone shoved in the resonator hole of Bob's old acoustic. "And the freakin' string action was unbearable!!"
