Greetings.
This is Nixon here, giving a little tidbit of my background to all the Larvamind fans (wherever you are). Well I have been playing bass guitar for about 3 years now. Unlike Bob "33" Keys or juz10 h9, this is the first real band I've ever been in. There was a project that Bob and I had going on after the P.O.E. years (which was before LARVAMIND was introduced into my bloodstream). NO TOLERANCE was formed & brought on upon by Bob and I jammin' with a couple of buddies; Ben Trussell on guitar and Jeff Plummer as well. But after awhile it was then just me & Bob looking for something to challenge the essence of music.

Searching for my place in the world of music, I was very much drawn into early metal, the energy of punk, & the spirit of classical music. Also, in its essence and form, how "epic" and well thought out and structured music could be. --That's what I was looking for but my searching did not go on for very long.

One day Bob and a good friend of his (Justin) asked if I wanted to jam with them. Knowing nothing of what I was getting myself into I said "sure, sounds like fun". So I went to Bob's and was taught a few riffs & songs by Justtin, never seeing this guy before in my life. He seemed like the ambitious guitar player I could see myself playing with. "A challenge for me," I thought. I was blown away by the music him and Bob had to offer but at the same time was really scared because I had only been a bass player for a short time and did not know if I could rise to the occasion. But shortly there after they asked if I wanted to join their circle and I said, "hell yes!" And off to school I went; Larvaschool and all of its virtues.

Here I am in this perfect timing of life, looking forward to the road ahead. Its been 2 years since LARVAMIND has been together despite Daval & Eben [our former singers -- I'm sure I don't have to fill you in on this one]. But we will continue to push the elements in our favor and learn by our obstacles as they come along. Overcoming is in our realm and pushing music as far as it will go is something we wil continue to do.

With that in mind, stay true to yourself and anything is possible..
